Ueno
Ueno is very well known town in Tokyo, mostly because of it's park, museums and markets. It is the eastern-most hub of central Tokyo.
Ueno railway station is famous of it's tent-like structure and translucent roof, and Hard Rock Cafe. The old version of Ueno railway station was seen as computer graphics in Always Sanchome no Yuhi movie. It is one of the most unique railway stations in Tokyo.
With cherry blossoms during the end of March, the Ueno Park (Ueno Koen) is hard to miss. Inside the Ueno Park is the National Museum of Western Art, great water fountain and Shinobazu pond with lotuses. And the historical Zoo and pandas.
Ameyoko street is a fantastic place to get that suitcase or bag or umbrella you've been looking for. It has a various different shops (over 500 shops!), which all have good service. This is the place where Japanese women go to shopping, and find bargains. It is one of the most famous bazaaras in Tokyo.
Next to Ueno station is Okachimachi in Yamanote line.
