The Walk of Philosophy
The Walk of Philosophy (Tetsugaku no michi) is a path that connects Nanzen-ji zen buddhist temple to Ginkakuji, silver pavilion in Kyoto. It is very pleasant path to take, along it flows a river with Japanese carp, (koi) and in spring you can enjoy blooming sakura trees along it.
One theory why this road is called "The Walk of Philosophy" or "Philosopher's Walk" is that a philosopher, Kitaro Nishida used to walk this road to meditate.
