Sapporo Beer is made by Sapporo Breweries Ltd. which is an international corporation, similar to Suntory Ltd. Sapporo is also a city in Hokkaido, northern part of Japan.

Perhaps two most popular beers that Sapporo Breweries make are Sapporo Black Label which is real beer, and reasonable cost happoushu drinks. This was the corporation's response to the need of popular Nama (draft) beer product.

The corporation's aggressive advertisement plans have paid off well.

And then new genres such as Sapporo Draft One or Slims (low calory) and W DRY which has dry and clean aftertaste.

Another popular beer product made by Sapporo Breweries is Yebisu.
