Resonance Vox: Jigojitoku
This live recording from year 1995 introduces cool fusion jazz to fantastic guitar themes. It has up and downbeat and a cheerfull tune. It has feeling of rock, resembling distantly style of Tomoyasu Hotei but also jazz, and ethnic music. Band improvises well around the long and complicated guitar solos of Watanabe .
Tracks like Glory's Stomp and Wise Up introduce unforgettable rhythm and feel. O-X-O ends with a long drum solo that ought to sound boring listened from stereo but actually works very well in this recording. Optimistic and cool No Money, No Girl, No Business is a fine ending for this cheerfull album. Recording is so well made that this is almost like a studio album. It is pleasure to put this disc on your stereo any time and enjoy the cool instrumental fusion.
