Japanese female athletes
They are truly the people who I admire. I haven't met any professional athletes here in Japan personally, but all what I've seen, read or heard from them, is something comparable to an ancient samurai.. Have you ever noticed, Japanese female athletes never wear any make up at all, nor ear rings or piercings of any kind. And their hair is short. And their bodies are made of solid, turbocharged muscle. There is beauty in their execution.And they never boast or jump in front of the audience.
Their entire body and soul seems to concentrate on their performance. Maybe all of them are doing that for different reasons, some of them maybe fighting for their country, and maybe some just don't feel like doing anything else. But the level of a sole, pure devotion, without any extra luggage..
And when they are interviewed, they are always polite, never saying a word of complaint.
All the respect for the female athletes of Japan! gambatte!
