Convenience stores
Convenience stores are food shops which can be found almost from anywhere in Japan. Most of them are part of American chains - and they have came obviously from US. They are almost open 24 hours per day and you can usually get anything you might need in middle of the night such as Suntory whiskey or malt beer. Or a new shirt after spending a night in bar and need to look decent in work..
Few examples are "Am/Pm" "Lawson" and "Seven Eleven". You can also order a special delivery services and a Limousine Bus to the airport from most of these. Also most of them sell prepaid phones.
Convenience stores offer arubaito, part time job for highschool students.
