Public "scandal"

I find this whole thing confusing and depressing. In Japan, it seems to be custom to lynch a public person who makes a single mistake. I was surprised they don't sentence him right to jail. And police is "Investigating" this thing. Yeah, maybe there is a hidden agenda or scam behind this. Maybe "he had a reason to do it..".
Although I understand that jumping naked in public places is not the most wisest thing to do (especially if you belong to SMAP) how about giving a guy a break?
I really don't envy public persons in Japan.
I bet fans are not too forgiving either.
And because of mass media's report the country goes crazy, just because a pop band member drunk a little too much.
My wife commented that she has better things to do in morning than watch stupid rumor news than this. I couldn't agree with her more.

So because he drunk a little too much, he is suddenly "that type"? So he is now labeled as unacceptable person?

Everyone takes too much sometimes and even he is a celebrity he is also human. But it seems that Tsuyoshi does have a drinking proble, in bistro smap episodes there has been jokes about when he drinks he turns into a different problem and it appears he drinks often.

Yes, his fans (ex-fans?) do seem to exaggerate somewhat. It does make one wonder what were they expecting from him in the first place.　Perhaps the Japanese words "ningen" and "ningyou" are a little too similar in concept for some people. Tongue

Then again, one is indeed expected to curb one's impulses if one is to enjoy the benefits of society. Taking undeserved freedoms usually means taking them from someone else, and his ravings weren't that necessary for him. "Just having some fun" has even been used to justify arson.

And thank you so much for fixing Hanamiweb! I know I can be a little impatient for waiting the "Post Reply" page to pop up, but I just wasn't all that convinced that it's size is over 400Mb as indicated by it's loading time. Wink

Apparently the problem was simple, the virtual server hosting company simply didn't allocate my server enough processing power. I managed to "negotiate" more resources now. It's just that under this economical situation, I can't afford other virtual hosting plan. It's funny how Finnish customers think that if you move to Japan, you are going to take your server with you, and it's "too far".. Same goes with friends.

Just to be on the safe side (since I am riding the late train as usual with regards to interpretative quality of my writings), I might as well mention now that I was aiming at the reputation of the server company. Sorry for the confusion. undecided

I understand that money talks, but as a server company they should be smart enough to offer server speeds that can actually be used by customers (such as Hanamiweb), or admit that providing basic services is over their heads.

But if I could figure out how the deal is with Hikari One, I would host my own dedicated server here in my house. But everything is in Japanese and companies like AU are not nice to deal when talking about DNS stuff..

I was going to shock y'all evarybody eventually, but a verbal zap at this time should suffice. Until this point the perfect clear mountain streams that I have discovered were encountered during cloudy (or winter, or in cold highlands) days, so nude-dipping-and-timed-photographs-for-the-world-to-enjoy events have yet to present themselves.
