I have a somewhat limited supply of subtitled movies here, so I mainly watch movies that speak English or Japanese, and since only one of those categories fits the subject...
 
Recently I went to see the Death Note sequel "L change the world", but due to crappy directing and the fact that the script writer deserves an atomic wedgie, I wouldn't call it my favourite.
 
I did see "Always Zoku: Sanchome no yuuhi", and the quality did not falter from the first movie! Unbelievably good! Oh man... Some of the lesser characters really got under my skin. ->
